Andrew has published two volumes in the Pevsner Guides series for Yale University Press:
Bristol
(2004)
Part of the City Guides offshoot, softbacks designed to be accessible to the casual reader or city visitor interested in the built heritage. It covers the city centre and inner suburbs, with superb colour photographs by James O. Davies of English Heritage.
Somerset North and Bristol
(2011)
Part of the original Buildings of England series. This fully revised the most out-of-date volume, which had not been updated since publication in 1955. It covers the major heritage cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells, and of course the northern half of Somerset roughly from Weston-super-Mare to Frome.
Bristol: City on Show
(The History Press, 2012)
A co-publication with Dan Brown and David Martyn. The succinct text combines with modern photographs and over 100 historic illustrations from the City Library collections, most of them previously unpublished images. It makes an excellent gift as an introduction to the city.
